Our penultimate day in Greece found us in the foothills of Mount Olympus, specifically in the small town of Litochoro. Owner and i had driven for four hours across country so upon our arrival on Thursday we took the rest of the day easy. However, we awoke on Friday determined to make the most of our last full day in Greece. Accordingly, after a full breakfast, we headed up into the foothills of Mount Olympus and then hiked the lower slopes of Mount Mytikas (mythica).
According to ancient Greek mythology Mount Mythica is where the major gods reside. It is a beautiful place so i can see why they might choose to spend their time hanging out here. However, today they were joined by another Goddess, Owner and Her slutty rascal poppet.

Many people were out hiking the trail. However, the one that impressed me the most was a six year old Japanese girl who was hiking with her family. Whereas pretty much everyone else was wearing hiking gear of sorts, or at least sports clothing, she had opted to hike the trail in a fairy princess outfit plus walking boots. Never before have i been in awe of a small girls outfit, nor quite as envious, as i was today. One day, i too would love to hike dressed as a fairy princess!
Walk completed we began our descent off the mountain towards the ancient Greek town on Dion. Before we reached it, however, Owner desired a few photos of me, wearing just my bra, snapped by the side of the road. I was obviously happy to oblige

When we descended off the mountain we then travelled to the ancient ruins of the city of Dion. This was an amazing place. A once important ancient Greek and Roman religious site and city now mostly lost to vegetation. It was a magical feeling to walk along the city streets and see the marks in the flagstones left by years of use by passing chariot and cart wheels.

Owner and i have had a wonderful time in Northern Greece and would highly recommend it as a place to visit. Tomorrow we depart for London and to plan our next adventure.
