It is obviously important to Owner that i perform well for Her. Likewise, it is vital that i remember to fulfill the tasks and actions directed by Her in order to a) please my Owner and b) progress in my development as Her submissive. This is especially true if i ever hope to be accepted by Her as Her slave, which is my long-term goal.
Over the years Owner has used a variety of training regimes and tools to develop me, my behaviours and performance as Her submissive. Some of these were simple and remain in use, such as the use of a wipe-clean fridge calendar in which instructions can be set for tasks that require completion. i pass the fridge many times a day so i can always refer to the calendar and mark when an item has been completed.
i also used to keep a chore diary which reminded me which household chores needed completing on which day of the week e.g. Monday = bathroom deep-clean, Tuesday = halls and spare room etc, etc. i no longer refer to this diary as these routines have become so ingrained over the years that i know them off by heart. They provide the framework to my week, every week.
Owner also uses dice and cards. These She really likes as, once set-up, they can be used again and again and again without any further effort on Her part. She rightfully takes the view that dominating me must make Her life easier, not create extra work for Her. The dice and cards are perfect in that regard as they can be re-used as often as She wishes. Occasionally, Owner will add a new card or dice face descriptor (She uses large children's dice with blank faces that can be written on) to keep things fresh. The cards determine things as varied as how long i am in chastity for, what outdoor challenges i must complete and where, what acts of pain endurance/slut development etc i must complete and so forth. They have been part of our lives for many, many years and are used on a very regular basis.
Owner has also used other aids for my development. Amongst these have been things such as Trello Boards to set tasks and mark when they were completed and also some rudimentary performance apps that could be used to score/mark how i had done that week. Unlike Owner i never used Trello much outside our relationship and always found it a bit clunky. The performance apps were also a bit hit and miss.
At one point we even considered installing one of those smiley face devices you find in toilets, shopping centres or airport security lounges where you are asked to rate your experience as a user of a facility. In our case it would be for Owner to record Her satisfaction with me and my performance, or otherwise. We still might install one but they are a bit crude and don't offer opportunities for analysis.
Which brings me to this week.
i had an idea. Might there be some performance management software that Owner could potentially adapt to assist with my training? i was searching online when i stumbled across a free AI-powered programme that is aimed at small/medium-size enterprises. It is as a tool to track staff performance and run appraisals etc. However, the great thing is that you can adapt it and create your own objectives and goals for each 'staff member'. You can require that reports are completed however frequently you like. The programme emails the staff member asking them to rate their performance using the parameters you have set. It also asks the 'staff member' to complete a self-assessment against each objective and then prompts you to provide examples to evidence your own rating and areas you feel that you, as a staff member, need to improve upon.
The completed 'self-assessment' is then sent to your 'manager' to review, add/correct etc. In our case i am the 'staff member' and Owner is the 'manager'. She can run analysis over time across all areas of my performance after first receiving my own ratings and views on what i was doing well and where i needed to improve. You can also run analytics to identify trends etc.
My immediate thought was, this could be perfect! i quickly sent a link to Owner. She is very excited about it's potential, as am i. Owner applauded me for my initiative in finding it and suggesting it to Her. The programme is called Effy.ai and hopefully it is something that will help with my development. i have already been asked by it to rate my performance, provide evidence and suggest areas for improvement, all of which has now been received by Owner for Her to review and adjudicate at Her leisure.
Hopefully we can embed this programme into our lives and it can become a useful tool for Owner and i to help report, assess, monitor and improve my performance and development. My personal hope is that if, over time, i am able to demonstrate that i am consistently achieving the goals Owner sets for me, then that might serve as a trigger to introduce further controls, acts of service etc into my life and help me progress towards my long-term my goal of being considered worthy of becoming Owners slave. However, even were Owner to grant that i am still a long way off being anything like good enough to be accepted by Her as one.
If there any other performance management tools, techniques or technologies that readers use or have come across that you think might be of interest to Owner please do let me know. i know that i should simply remember to do things when i have been told and that i should do them consistently, repeatedly and to a high standard but in truth i forget and do not listen properly and still have much to improve upon.
Meanwhile, there are also more low-tech/no-tech tools that can be and are useful. In particular, checklists are always handy. Many industries use them to ensure safety critical tasks are undertaken. They can be just as useful as a means of learning and embedding tasks and routines that Owner expects of me without the hassle of having to constantly remind me until i remember. i can simply refer to the checklist to ensure all expected tasks are completed until i eventually gets to the point where they have become second nature.
This week i have created two new checklists for myself. One is a checklist to go through immediately before i go to bed i.e. after completing my evening tasks chores (these typically take about 2-2.5hours) and spending quality time in Owners' company. The other is my first thing in the morning checklist. i realised that i needed such lists when earlier this week Owner suddenly announced that a) She had not got out any clothes to wear into the office today and that b) the top that She wanted to wear was creased and needed ironing!
Upon hearing this news my heart sunk. i knew straight away that i had let Her down. i immediately stopped what i was doing in order to rectify the situation but i realised i was at fault for having allowed the situation to arise in the first place. i should have checked the night before that the clothes Owner wanted to wear to work were out, pressed and ready for Her to put on. i made an entry into my punishment log of my failing but also determined that i needed to create these two checklists to avoid any repetition.
In case of interest the two checklists i have devised are as follows:
End of Day Checklist
- Tidy lounge and ensure all items have been put away
- Set mobile phone(s) to charge
- Check and advise Owner on the predicted weather forecast for next day
- Check for any anticipated transport disruption that may affect Owner the following day (if She is going into Her office)
- Pick-up all clothing discarded by Owner and sort for washing or putting away.
- Ensure all clothes to be put away are neatly hung/folded with all clothes hangers organised by garment type and correctly aligned
- Ensure that Owners choice of office attire is out, pressed and ready to wear the next day
- Check with Owner what She would like for breakfast the following morning so it can be prepared as soon as i get up
- Prepare sandwiches/salad for Owner, if She will be in the office the following day, and store in fridge
- Ensure all crockery/cutlery is washed, dried and put away
- In wintertime pre-heat Owners side of the bed with a hot water bottle
- Conduct a full and final sweep of the flat to ensure it is neat and tidy
- Set alarm for the morning
First Thing In Morning Checklist
- Serve breakfast to Owner
- Place Owners' lunch and reading glasses into Her bag (if She is going into office)
- Complete exercises
- Re-check weather forecast and any actual transport disruption and advise Owner accordingly
- Complete Spanish study
- When Owner is working from home sweep all floors whilst She is out on Her morning walk - greet Her return by presenting myself kneeling, naked, with my legs legs spread and kiss Her feet
- Hand Owner my mobile phone and, on Fridays the remote control for the electro-clit torture device that will be worn all day
- Shower and then clean bathroom
- Put on make-up and clothes
- Wash-up and put away breakfast dishes
- Ensure Owner has water and a snack for the morning (when She is working from home)
- Carry Owners bag for Her to railway station if She is working from the office
Hopefully these checklists will ensure tasks do not get forgotten.
