i mentioned previously that Owner had a potential health issue. Well, on Thursday this week She had a minor surgical procedure to investigate further. She will get the results in about ten days but Her specialist did not observe anything of immediate concern so hopefully She will get the all clear from the biopsy tests as well. It has, however, been a stressful period for us both.
Meanwhile, Owner bought a wonderful make-up advent calendar for us both from Revolution. We have been taking it in turn to open a fresh door of the calendar each day. Owner stated that if She received an product She did not like She would gift it to me. Equally, if i found something behind the doors i opened that She liked it would go to Her. So far i have been the lucky recipient of a make-up mirror, purple eye-liner and a gloss lipstick (traded for a matte lipstick She did not like).
i truly am so lucky having a wonderful Owner and wife to share make-up with!

Earlier this week Owner and i went to see a recording of two episodes of Radio 4's surreal comedy panel game I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue at the Royal Festival Hall. I am delighted to say that the recording did indeed include a game of Mornington Crescent and a letter from a Mrs Trellick of North Wales - sorry for non-UK readers or UK readers who have never listened to this long-running radio comedy panel show this reference will mean nothing to you. However, to any aficionado's out there - it was a real treat and will be broadcast over the coming weeks.
On Wednesday i met my mum for dinner after work then on Thursday i went with Owner to the hospital for Her procedure. Friday i was supposed to devote myself completely to caring for Owner as Her 'responsible adult' following Her operation but i felt very unwell and ended up unable to work or look after Her as i would have wished to, in fact i spent much of the day in bed!
However, today (Saturday) i am starting to feel better and Owner appears to have almost fully recovered. That said, we are both having a quiet weekend at home. i hope to be well enough to start returning to my usual chores and routines tomorrow and hopefully the rest of the run-up to Christmas will see no further health scare for Owner.

Hi Owner & happypet,
Sorry to hear Y/you both have been unwell. Please take care and obviously do not worry about posting. It is appreciated to hear the good, plus concerning about bad issues that arise in Y/your life on the blog, but i would hope that this is of lesser importance whilst dealing with life and health issues. Hopefully Owner will be given the all clear and i know that illness aside, poppet you will care for your wonderful Superior Owner.
Love the calendar idea, hopefully Owner will receive more than yourself but if not then count your blessings. i have always wanted to go to a radio recording but have not so far and the journey to London is a long trek and can be expensive.
All the best
