Just a quick post to say how lovely it was to be able to enjoy and almost completely 'normal' Sunday today. Owner and i got up quite late for us (7.30am) and then, after a relaxed morning, we pootled off into town for a brief walk along the Thames and then lunch (Thai curries followed by cake).
It has been a while since we spent a Sunday doing what we always used to do on Sundays in pre-pandemic times - it was lovely. Town was busy with visitors and tourists, the sun was out and it was weirdly on the mild side for the end of January.

Any other time this would have been a quite unremarkable day - which is why i think it felt so lovely!

I've never really explored curries....what do you recommend for a beginner to the cuisine....bearing in mind that I like very spicy things!!!!

Oh dear i am afraid i am the wrong person to advise you Kaaren as neither Owner nor i like hot curries. i like the ones with a mild creamy sauce...maybe they remind me of something :)
