When in Germany....

Owner and i spent a fantastic 48 hours in Dusseldorf last weekend. It is a city we have never previously visited and it makes for a great short city break from London. There are lots of nice walks you can do and shops to browse through, oh and of course beer to drink! Speaking of  Las Vegas, we're both super impressed by how fast we got all of the official paperwork sent over to us here in the UK. We now just need to get an appointment with the Spanish embassy and have our marriage registered with them too in order to get our family book and that is all the paperwork sorted. We officially become Husband and wife in the UK and in Spain, and no i am not the husband! Before the ceremony the minister actually asked which one of us was the 'husband' and so i had the honour of saying my vows as Owners' soon to be wife and of officially becoming Her wife.

Vegas Baby!

Well i can now reveal the exciting new that i have been alluding to over the past few months. Owner and i are now legally married as wife (me) and Husband (Her). We recently returned from a week long whirlwind trip to the USA which ended in Las Vegas and the two of us getting officially hitched next to the 'Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas' sign - see images from the ceremony below:

We are now officially married. We did all the necessary paperwork at the Clark county registry office the night before and then for the ceremony itself we used the services of the wonderful Las Vegas Wedding Wagon - an LGBTQ friendly service where you tell them where you want to get hitched (location-wise) and they turn up and do the service for you. It is actually run by a lovely English couple who couldn't have been nicer or put Owner and i more at ease - we were both pretty nervous. The Minister even referred to me as the 'wife' and to Owner as the 'Husband' throughout the ceremony.

Of course i had on my collar too (and a fancy pink feather hairclip).

Many of you will recall that we were both 'married' a few years ago but that was a non-legal service. This is fully legal and we are now officially married.

Owner Reveals Her Hand

This evening Owner revealed some of Her plans for me for the run up to our 'wedding' - She wants me to have a 'hen' night - WOW!!! how lucky i am! Tonight Owner gave me a wonderful little card whilst we were drinking in our local bar.

Plans a Plenty

At the start of this year i alluded to something that Owner and i had planned and which we were both very excited about. Well, fast forward seven months and these plans are now fairly well advanced (albeit not everything has been sorted yet).

i have a gorgeous dress chosen by Owner, a very pretty veil and will hopefully soon be taking delivery of the shoes to go with the dress - again expertly chosen by Owner. Meanwhile, Owner has chosen Her outfit.  Yes, you've guessed it - Owner and i are getting 'married'. i say 'married' as we have both been there and done that once before in different relationships. It won't be a properly legal wedding - as i say we have both been there and done that before - but it does have all of the emotional investment and commitment in it that one would expect of a wedding. The planning of it also seems to have taken as long as if it were a 'proper' wedding! We have a photographer booked and will be heading off on honeymoon together afterwards.
