i am currently about mid-way through the current stage of the development programme (Plin, Plan Plon II) Owner has created for me to develop me into Her ideal wife. Today i submitted my regular monthly self assessment to Owner and was delighted to receive the following comments back from Her on the evaluation form;
'Pet continues to do well, he is doing better than he thinks...He is now much better at working without supervision and has become much more proactive.'
i was really thrilled to receive such feedback from Owner. This past month has been a busy one for us both, Owner has been studying hard for Her latest professional qualification and is also in the midst of trying to find a new job whilst continuing to work full-time at Her current workplace. In the meantime, i have been busy learning new skills. The knitting course i enrolled on has now ended but i am continuing to practice. Owner and i are going to Canada towards the end of March so i am trying to knit some pretty warm scarves to take with us and keep us warm.
Yesterday i also completed a one day introduction to reflexology course. i really enjoyed the course. With Owners permission i had removed my toenail polish the night before as i knew we would be practising and i wasn't sure how the rest of the students might react to me turning up with my bright pink toenails. i was, however, wearing make-up and my collar etc.There were 13 women and me on the course and i needn't have bothered taking off my nail polish as during our first practice session the student i was working with took one look at my feet and said.'you've been wearing some bright nail varnish haven't you?' - it turns out i hadn't got rid of all the varnish the night before. She also complimented me on my nice 'necklace'. In hindsight, i think i'd have been fine with my bright pink nails! Anyway, the course was great fun and Owner is looking forward to me practicising my newly acquired reflexology skills on Her later this evening.
Later this month i have my Indian head massage course and then my manicure and pedicure course. i am really grateful to Owner for encouraging and motivating me to study in order to become the wife She deserves. Combined with my Spanish studies and my usual household chores and duties it is keeping me busy, happy and contented.

Izzy Wizzy Let's Get Busy
As the title suggests this is proving to to a very busy month for Owner and i. Both of us are studying outside of our normal working hours, except in Owners case She is studying to help further Her career whereas in my case i am continuing to seek to develop skills appropriate as Owners wife.
Owner has commenced an intensive career-related training course that occupies much of Her free time at the moment. i try to be as helpful as i can for Her by ensuring nothing disturbs Her study or by offering Her support and advice if and when requested. We joke that wouldn't it be good if She could work for Herself and i gave-up my job and became Her secretary instead - sadly this isn't a viable financial option and of course it would be even better if neither of us actually needed to work in the first place. But it would be great to be of service to Owner at work as well as outside.
Meanwhile, in addition to my ongoing Spanish study i have also started a knitting class. i have not knitted since school (and then only very badly) but Owner has stated that i should develop skills appropriate to and becoming of Her wife and i am really enjoying learning. i was inordinately excited when i completed my first mini-homework project- to produce a cloth using a combination of knit and purl - and during last nights class i progressed onto the art of cabling. For our class next week i need to bring in a pattern that i want to create. Mine will still be basic, am thinking of a pretty scarf, but i want to set a goal of producing a project every X number of weeks/months. i also found out last night that the teacher also teaches dress-making. First, i need to learn to sew and use a machine but dress-making would be fun and practical too :).
At the end of this month i am also doing a basic reflexology course to improve my foot massage skills and then in February i am booked onto an Indian head massage course and a manicure and pedicure course. With the latter i would like to progress onto a full beauty therapy course, but we'll see how i get on. However, the general ambition of Owners is that Her wife should be equipped with a full range of skills from the practical at one end to the downright dirty at the other.
For me i really enjoy learning anyway and am really enjoying the opportunity to develop new skills and abilities, skills which i hope will prove of use to Owner. i'd be interested if there are any skills or crafts that readers are studying/have studied? In addition to the courses i mentioned above which i am already enrolled on i am also keen to study the following, again all of which i think could be of practical benefit to Owner;

Birthday Treat - Tied Up and Spanked With a Slipper
Last week was my 44th birthday and to mark the occasion Owner booked the two of us into the wonderful Apex London Wall hotel for an overnight stay. We really had a wonderful time. Knit One, Purl One, Knit One, Purl One....
Owner and i had a great time in Spain for the Three Kings Parade but are now both back at home and back to work. However, January is a busy month for us both. Owner is starting a course as part of Her career development whilst i have a series of new courses and classes this month to help my development as Owners ideal wife.
i attended the first of my classes on Wednesday night after work. It is a two hour beginners knitting course that is running for four weeks. Although i knitted at school i have not done so since and so, am effectively a total novice. There are only two of us on the course so there is plenty of opportunity for one to one tuition. The first lesson was spent learning to cast-on, knit, purl and cast-off. i found it really enjoyable although i confess it took me a while to get the hang of things. However, this morning whilst Owner was researching online i knitted a practice swatch which i am quite pleased with. It will take me a while to progress to any level of competency but i aim to get to a level of skill where i can be of some practical use for Owner and make some pretty items.
At the end of this month i am doing a one day foot reflexology course to improve my foot massage technique for Owner. However, he real excitement comes next month when i am first doing an Indian head massage course followed up with a one day manicure and pedicure course. i'd love to be able to then go on and complete a beauty therapy course - what fun that would be!
In the meantime, i continue to try and perform as Owner expects and to meet the requirements of Her development plan for me. Now we are back from our travels to Spain after New Year i can get back into my daily routines so that 2014 can really be a year in which i develop and advance as Owners submissive wife.

Exciting Developments
Owner has presented me with some wonderful surprises over the past week. It starts in the New Year and lasts for a couple of hours one evening a week for a month. i am now booked onto the class.
So, my development and transition as Owners wife continues apace. i am on the cusp starting a whole series of classes in the New Year to develop and perfect a whole new set of skills - manicure/pedicure, reflexology, Indian head massage and knitting to date. In addition, the intensity of my Spanish practice and learning has been increased. Meanwhile, at home i am being trained to become the housewife Owner deserves and aspires to posses through the gradual addition of new tasks and activities i am to complete or perfect.
All the while, the degree of direct control Owner has over how i live my life with Her and what i may or may not do continues to increase. As it does so it is with delight (on my part) that i am noticing how increasingly assertive and authoritative Owner is becoming (not that She wasn't before but She is becoming even more so) and how comfortable She appears to be asserting such control. In addition, i am loving being trained and developed as Her ideal wife and the opportunities this is affording me to learn new skills and be of more use to Owner.

Jungle Pet
Owner and i paid a visit to our local park this morning to take a few pictures of me wearing my leopard print lingerie. As you can see it was broad daylight and there were a lot of people about, although we had found a spot just off the main path. This past week has also been a productive one. i completed the first of the courses i have booked myself on (back and neck massage) and have already started to put it to good use with Owner. They were all perfectly friendly and nice. The centre was called Onedaycourses.com and again i would recommend it. It offers a range of massage, reflexology, reiki and other holistic courses.
In February next year i am also booked to do a one day manicure and pedicure course at a different training centre called 'The Beauty Academy' as well as an Indian head massage course. i have begun practiising manicures on Owner in addition to pedicures, though at present my French manicure skills leave a lot to be desired! i am looking forward to the manicure and pedicure course i am booked onto, though i confess i am also a little nervous as well...albeit in a good way. This centre also offers a facial massage and skin care course which Owner and i have discussed might also be a good one for me to do.
Meanwhile, i have been researching potential knitting classes to enroll on next year and Owner is also keen for us both to do a sewing machine class at some point too. As you can see i have a busy year ahead with lots of new skills to try to learn and master if i am to progress towards becoming Owners perfect wife.
Owner and i are also both excited at the prospect of us spending this Xmas at home together (we are often apart with our respective families) and She has ordered me a Christmas Elf costume to wear and model in our park...it should make for a wonderful bit of festive fun!

One area that is a particularly exciting development is the commencement of more formal 'practical' training in order that i acquire more skills of benefit to Owner. Accordingly, later this week i will be attending an introduction to 'back and neck' massage course and Owner has permitted me to register and enroll on two one-day courses in February next year. These last two courses give an accredited Beauty Academy Diploma to graduates but also offer the potential to have the courses accredited towards a Level 2 National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Beauty Therapy. This is something that i would love to be able to get so that i could offer Owner a full-range of services, something i feel that i ought to aspire to be able to do as Her wife. It would require me completing a number of different class-based modules as well as some assignments but i think it could be fun and would give me some useful skills. One area that is a particularly exciting development is the commencement of more formal 'practical' training in order that i acquire more skills of benefit to Owner. Accordingly, later this week i will be attending an introduction to 'back and neck' massage course and Owner has permitted me to register and enroll on two one-day courses in February next year. The Importance of Continuous Study
As part of my development Owner is keen that i develop additional skills and abilities that will be of current or potential future use to Her. One such area that regular readers will know i have been trying to improve for a number of years now is Spanish and i am delighted to report that i seem to be making some progress with this.
However, as part of the current phase of my development as Her wife Owner has been keen to start to extend my repertoire and further my studies. Accordingly, i have recently purchased a copy of the New Holland Professional Manicure and Pedicure: The complete guide to professional results. i have offered and given Owner pedicures and foot massages for many years now but i had never, until this weekend, given Her a manicure - maybe because the results are so obvious to others and i was worried about making a complete hash of it? Anyway, this book has been really useful and is easy to follow. The next step i hope will be to be permitted by Owner to enroll on a taught course so that i can work towards offering Owner professional standard manicures and pedicures. i was recently contacted by an old school friend who, as it turns out, is a professional beautician. It was great to get in touch with her again after so many years but, serendipitously also allowed me to seek her advice on potential beauty courses.
Talking of courses, i have also just enrolled myself onto a one day back and neck massage course in London. i have agreed with Owner that i need to make better use of some of the extra days leave i get from wok each year compared to Her. Owner advised that i could use this time in a productive manner, one such way being using the time to study and develop skills that would benefit Her. Accordingly, i have booked a day off from work to attend the course. Fingers crossed it will go well and, assuming it does, the centre offers a number of other complementary health and development courses that might be useful. Owner has also discussed with me the idea of me enrolling in sewing, beauty therapy etc classes and courses. It looks like i will be having a lot of fun acquiring new skills over the coming months and years.
Meanwhile, Owner and i have been having fun with some new and old activities/challenges for me. Owner has discovered that She really enjoys spanking my 'bits' i.e. testicles whilst i am washing-up.
